About Bill Hurlock
Bill grew up in the suburbs of West Philadelphia. He took the saying “the sky’s the limit” to heart and shortly after finishing High School made a “B” line to the Bartow Air Academy in Florida, where he attained his Private Pilot’s license. For a number of reasons, his becoming a commercial pilot wasn’t in the cards, and he found himself backpacking in Europe in the Summer of 1973. On the beaches of The Costa del Sol in Southern Spain is where he met his British Beauty, whom he was to marry five years later. He and his wife were to live in Yorkshire, England for the next 20+ years. Two kids (boys), two dogs (boys), and two cats (girls) later, Bill and his wife moved to the Sunshine State in 2011 where he became a Licensed Florida Real Estate Agent
The majority of Bill’s working life has been in the field of Sales where he has consistently been a top performer. Prior to his now 10+ years as a Florida Realtor, his experience in Real Estate included Villa Sales in Spain and Property Sales in the Bahamas.
One of his former bosses once told Bill that Bill reminded him of the “Duck on Water” analogy. He said, “I watch you around your Clients, and you’re always so cool and calm; what your Clients don’t see is how much time and effort you put into making sure their transactions go through as smoothly as possible”.
If you were to ask Bill about the often negative view of “Salespeople” he would tell you: “It’s about your Work Ethic and how you treat people. If you treat people with respect, and you are genuinely interested in being of service to them, they recognize that in you and respond to that. It’s as simple as; Treating others as you would like to be Treated”. Bill says: “The value of a property doesn’t really matter, everyone deserves and receives the same level of service and attention to the details. The aim is to find out what my Client’s wants and needs are, whether Buying or Selling a property, and then to work together to achieve their goals through an efficient and enjoyable process”.
